strategic projects - September 2006The Massachusetts
Tobacco Control Program recently announced that Global Sage Group
will provide the design and development of a compliance tracking
system. This system features a web site accessible by Web phones,
desktops and laptops for easy access and update by field compliance
agents.
The New York
County of Genesee recently
awarded a contract to Global Sage Group to coach the legislature through
the analysis and process of outsourcing their IT Environment.
The American
Society of Interior Design has
contracted with Global Sage Group to conduct an IT Assessment followed
by an IT Strategy at their headquarters in Washington, DC.
The operations
leadership team at the L’Oreal warehouse in Ohio has awarded the
Global Sage Group a contract to assess, document and optimize the
business processes that support the deal assembly area of their finished
goods warehouse.
The MA Health &
Human Services has contracted with Global Sage Group to coordinate
several vendors and resources to implement the core new systems. The
applications are SOA based, and include common identity and security
services. Key subcontractors to GSG include SUN Microsystems, Synerginc
and others.

competitive wins at the Commonwealth.
GSG has been engaged by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to provide
Information Technology (IT) assistance in the development of an
Implementation Plan to guide the development of a Massachusetts Network
for the Environmental Public Health Tracking Program. The Environmental
Public Health Tracking Network (EPHTN), funded by the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has the purpose of linking
environmental and public health data and providing access through a
secure, web-based system.
GSG has been engaged by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to provide
technical leadership in the development of the Virtual Gateway project.
This project is based on open standards, open source, J2EE, Java,
WebLogic, JBoss and other current technologies.
GSG has been engaged by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to provide
systems analysis and design and programming for improvements and
expansion of the WRISS interface to a fast track weapon injury system.
